The Holiday Buy Local Campaign - November and December

The Sustainable Business Council has hosted a Holiday Buy Local Campaign each year since 2008.  The campaign encourages holiday shoppers to increase the local and sustainable components of their holiday gifts.

Garden City Localfest and the Buy Local Fortnight - June

The Sustainable Business Council has hosted Garden City Localfest, a vendor and entertainment fair designed to celebrate all things local, each year since 2009.  In 2012, we added the Local Gourmet Chef Competition to Localfest.  We also hosted a two-week media campaign called the Buy Local Fortnight immediately prior to Localfest in 2012.
