Sustainable Business Council presents its 2nd Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Thursday December 3rd at the Historic Wilma Theater in downtown Missoula.
Last year’s event brought out over 500 people. Join us for another amazing evening as the largest environmental film festival in the United States brings it’s magic to Missoula. The Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival sits apart from the hundreds of festivals around the world by leaving you feeling INSPIRED and MOTIVATED to go out and make a difference in your community and the world.
Come LEARN new ideas from a selection of inspiring documentary films with entertaining and educating topics including bioengineering, water issues, wilderness preservation, renewable energy and more. EXPERIENCE the adrenalin of kayaking the wildest rivers, climbing the highest peaks, and trekking across the globe with adventure films from around the world. EXPLORE the issues and movements with leading environmental professionals, filmmakers, and celebrities. CELEBRATE the natural and wild world with award winning films and great company. JOIN the movement of those moving towards a more just and sustainable future.
Starting off the evening, will be our exclusive pre-film VIP Fundraiser Gala, which will include delectable local, organic wine/cheese/appetizers catered by The Heirloom Project, live music, and a live mini-auction featuring an incredible array of coveted items like overnight stays at the Glacier Inn, Rafting trips, Gift Certificates, Backcountry Guided Tours, Art, Photography, Free Energy Audits, Spa Packages and more.
Upon the conclusion of the VIP event at 7 PM, the doors will open to general admission. Up to 900 more movie-goers will be invited into the theater to experience the magic of the Wild & Scenic Documentary Film Festival. During intermission we will be featuring a raffle of many more great prizes open for the general public. Beer and wine available.
