About Alpenglow Apparel:
Alpenglow Apparel is a local screen-printing (silk-screening) service owned and operated by a UM Environmental Studies graduate student. We are committed to printing quality and sustainable apparel(mainly t-shirts) for businesses, events, clubs/organizations, and more. We use only 100% certified Organic Cotton and print with Environmentally Friendly, water-based inks.
Sustainable Practices, Products & Services
Alpenglow Apparel challenges the status-quo of the environmentally and socially destructive screen-printing industry. It takes an average of 1/3 pound of pesticides and insecticides to produce enough cotton for a SINGLE conventional cotton t-shirt. The traditional plastisol inks used contain harmful toxins and carcinogens and are extremely corrosive to our watersheds. Our mission is to educate the Missoula community of these facts and offer a sustainable, organic alternative. Organic cotton feels good on your body, conscience, AND the planet.
