In addition, ALPS offers investment services through PEAK Investment Management and consulting services to non-profits and bar foundations through ALPS Foundation Services. In addition, ALPS owns and operates the historical Florence Building.
Sustainable Practices, Products, & Services: • Installation of water coolers to replace bottled water • Use only 100% recycled paper products including everything from letterhead to toilet paper. • Initiate practices to use the internet and email for invoicing and correspondence instead of paper. • Purchased plates and silverwear from thrift stores to replace paper products. • Installed motion lights • Installed flush-o-meters • Installed compact fluorescent • Replaced large building equipment with more energy efficient equipment • Replace lead balasts with electronic balasts. • Replace windows (as needed) with energy efficient windows. • Encourage and award bike/bus/walk week • Started a recycling program in the building for our tenants • Track energy use to help determine cycles and plan ahead.
