About Bayern Brewing:
Bayern Brewing is the longest operating brewery in the State of Montana and it is the only german brwery in the Rocky Mountains. From brewing to filtering to bottling, every part of the process in the production of our beer is done right here in Missoula, Montana. We produce according to German quality standards and our dedication to the art of brewing combined with technologically superior equipment and old-fashioned hard work produce a product second to none. We are a local business with 70-80% of our annually produced beer sold in Montana!
Sustainable Practices, Products, & Services:
Bayern Brewing reduces the brewery's impact on the environment and uses sustainable business practices wherever possible. The only brewery in the Northwest to reuse or recycle all of its packaging materials (6-pack carriers, bottles and caps). Bayern Brewing also ensures their brewing waste is properly disposed of (examples: spent grains go to feed Montana cattle and waste wateris properly treated). Since quality beer starts with good water, Bayern also makes contributions toward water conservation and restoration programs such as Montana Trout Unlimited and the Bonneville Environmental Foundation water restoration program. Reduce, REUSE, Recycle!
