Shirley has been operating a restaurant on the Hip Strip since May 1st, 1972. Still doing it the old way: stone-deck ovens, hand tossed pizza, dough made from scratch every day. All menu items are homemade using as much local ingredients as possible. In years past, the restaurant had a large garden of its own.
Sustainable Practices, Products, & Services:
The Bridge strives to operate as earth and human friendly as possible: recycling of most everything (including used oil,) using unbleached (brown) pizza boxes and to-go containers, buying a lot of local ingredients (Montana wheat and Kettlehouse beers for example,) and all while providing Missoula with a homemade and low-cost food alternative as well as a pleasant working environment for its 25 employees.

While The Bridge has received a number of awards (including Best Pizza) over the years, the best testament to its value is in the continued demand for its products and service.
