About Highland Winds: Highland Winds is multifaceted, providing sustainable planning concepts and solutions, along with offering fine art prints, herbals, gift baskets, writings and greeting cards at its shop/gallery which is at 1520 S. 7th St. W.. The gallery/shop is only open Friday evenings 4-9, Saturdays 9-4. The art sold there is Peggy Miller's, owner of Highland Winds, and Jason Kainz's photographs and giclees, son of Peggy Miller. The shop also sells jewelry, and other homemade gift items.
The herbals are 100% natural, and are homemade, and handpacked. They are carried by Good Foods Store on 3rd Street in Missoula, Orange Street Food Farm and Rosauers, along with Highland Winds own shop. They include Arthritis Oil, Linseed Salve, Massage Oil, Sage Water and Comfrey Oil. Highland Winds sells writings, including plays and novels of Peggy Miller, owner of Highland Winds, who presents her writing in the area and a variety of Greeting Cards. The photography, art, and writings convey images and concepts often relating to an overall concept of sustainability by providing locally produced products using local materials wherever possible, and local businesses.

My planning and research work focuses on assisting others with ideas, concepts, and research that provides sustainable approaches to community resource management issues. For example I have helped various towns with water supply management by conducting aquifer studies, and working on alternative development, zoning, and utilization methods.
