We are comprised of 6 partners and their families together bringing more than 100 years combined optical industry experience. Insight Digital Optical Incorporated\'s mission is to provide the highest standard, wholesale manufactured, conventional and digitally surfaced ophthalmic lenses and frames to independent eyecare providers in the states of Montana, Idaho and Washington while caring and providing for the communities and the environment in which we work. We are a different kind of lab, we consider our clients our partners, and we only work with independent doctors and opticians that embrace the same core values that we do. We endeavor to meet the highest standards in regards to quality and speed combined with a deep seated commitment to sustainable business practices. We will always provide new and expanded services to our partners that our competitors cannot or do not provide. Our motto is simple : It's about time... People - Our CEO is a LEED Certified Building Scientist and green business consultant, our commitment to sustainability is a top down core value. Location - We are truly the only independent wholesale laboratory located in Montana, all of our products are manufactured and shipped from Missoula, our competitors outsource to other states as far away as Nevada, Minnesota, and Texas. We will only work with doctors within a reasonable shipping radius of our laboratories. Living Wages - We were started by a group of local opticians who were tired of being paid peanuts while all of the profits left the state, we are committed to providing higher than average wages to all of our employees so that they can have and enjoy their lives in Western Montana. Recycling - All of the by-products of our manufacturing processes are tightly controlled and all are recycled, our goal is 100% waste free operations. Important Dates & Facts:
Insight Digital Optical was founded in February of 2009 and incorporated in August, 2009. Insight Optical will begin full operations in the first week of Novemeber, 2009. You can find our partner doctors and opticians listed on our website and at www.eyedoctorsmontana.com coming soon.
