The mission of Montana Audubon is to promote the appreciation, knowledge, and conservation of native birds, other wildlife, and their habitats. Founded in 1976, we have built effective programs in public policy, education, and bird conservation to serve our members and Montana's nine community-based Audubon Chapters. We are working to educate about and help solve global warming. We also strongly advocate for a shift to a clean energy economy, and are supportive of carefully sited renewable energy projects.
