| | About Pet Stop: Sustainable Practices, Products, & Services:
We do provide a living wage and also have employee benefits including Health and Life insurance. We participate in recycling efforts including cardbord and plastics. We recycle paper, printer cartriges, etc... We have a new all-natural, holistic organic dog food, sold in recycled pacaging. It includes a program in which a tree is planted for every UPC code that is sent in or returned to the store. Food is made in USA We buy a majority of our plush dog toys that are made in Montana with recyled water bottles that are used to make the filers for the beds and the toys. We strive to use only non-toxic all natural cleaning solututions around our nimals and throughout the store.
Important Dates & Facts:
Store has ben in business and locally owned since 1988. Bubba and Stephanie Alsup of Missoula have owned and operated the store since 1994. In June of 08 we left the Franchise know as Pet Land and became Pet Stop.
Awards & Achievements:
In 1996 We were awarded the 'Store of Excellence' from the PetLand organization.
