Posh Chocolat produces National award winning artisan chocolate truffles, bars and caramels. The shop also specializes in European pastries available both in the shop and at the Good Food Store . An extensive lunch menu is offered daily including crepes and soups, using locally produced and purchased seasonal ingredients when available.
When the husband and wife owners and chocolatiers are not busy crafting chocolates, you can find Jason restoring one of his five VW buses. While Ana keeps herself busy bouncing from her native Brazil and exploring the Big Sky country. Sustainable Practices, Products, & Services:
We believe in several sustainable practices including recycling (traditional paper, plastic, aluminium, etc., as well as we recycle all of our packing materials and icepacks and we reuse plastic containers for kitchen storage); energy efficient lighting; purchasing ingredients from local businesses when possible (obviously, our cocoa is imported from Europe as there are no local alternatives) and use our better judgment in determining where foods are from and making product accordingly (example, not serving our popular blueberry-lemon pie when blueberries are out of season and imported from thousands of miles away).
We are also committed to the local community of Missoula. We are regularly involved in catering for local events, and have participated in First Fridays to promote local artists in non-commission shows.
