The MAEDC assists the region in developing a healthy, stable economy. The purpose is to create
quality employment opportunities for area residents, diversify the region's economic base and

Score Chapter Missoula Montana
The Missoula SCORE Chapter has 20 highly experienced business counselors available to work
with business owners and entrepreneurs in Missoula and the surrounding area. In addition to
one-on-one business counseling, SCORE offers speakers to service, civic, and business organizations
and business-education classes. SCORE also sponsors relevant business seminars and workshops,
such as the Youth Entrepreneurs Seminar.

Montana Technology Enterprise Center
MonTEC's mission is to revitalize and diversify the regional and state economy by encouraging
small business innovative research, facilitating the transfer and commercialization of technology from The University of Montana and related laboratories, helping develop new technology-based start-up businesses in Montana, and fostering the creation of quality jobs.

Montana Business Connections
Montana Business Connections is a central clearinghouse for resources and information on
business assistance and economic and community development. 
Founded in 1990, Montana Business Connections (MBC) is
housed on the campus of  The University of Montana in the
William and Rosemary Gallagher Building, School of Business Administration.

Montana Associated Technology Roundtables
The Montana Associated Technology Roundtables was founded to promote economic development
in Montana by bringing together the network of entrepreneurs and business professionals

The Ecofile is an award winning and pioneering sustainablility and environmental radio program. Sponsored by CKUA at the University of Edmunton in Alberta, Canada, the Ecofile monitors a variety of environment and economic indicators and provides education and information on issues related to sustainable economic development. For example, hear the five part series (Episode #258-262) on Natural Capitalism & Biomimicry with Paul Hawken and Janine Benyus. The Ecofiles last show was in October 2002. The show was on the air for six years and produced 310 shows.
